I still wonder
Living and surviving…
There is a difference you know
Between wanting and needing.
I still wonder
Right here, right now…
I know I go to go
And do something… some how.

The night is beautiful,
So the faces of my people.
The stars are beautiful,
So the eyes of my people.
Beautiful, also, is the sun.
Beautiful, also, are the souls of my people.
Langston Hughes
The night has many
Sounds and lights
So are the ways of my people now.
The stars can be
Seen near and far
So developed now are the minds of my people.
Beautiful always is the sun
That rises in front of a deep blue sky
Or somewhere above the deep blue oceans of the vivid past.
Beautiful always are the hearts and souls of my people now...
When you reflect on these things
Look at my people now and smile.
